Do you love to travel?  Wouldn't it be even more fun to see the most exciting places in the world in the company of people who share your philosophical viewpoint?

A few years ago, a couple of Objectivists who value travel thought it would be fun to do it with other Objectivists.  They contacted AHI International and the first trip for Objectivist Travelers was organized in 1999 with Switzerland as its destination.  That excursion was such a success that many of the original group continue to travel with us year after year.

Why is it such fun to travel with Objectivists?  It's not that the trip is heavy with philosophical discussion, but rather that the unique nature of these experiences becomes even more extraordinary when shared with people of like mind.

So far, we've explored such diverse areas as Switzerland, Ireland, Norway, the Northern Lake District of Italy, Tuscany, Provence, Scotland, Greece and Lake Constance, Germany.  Plus, in May of 2005, we traveled to York, Pennsylvania, our first destination in the USA.  Our next adventure is planned for October 20 - 31, 2007 when we'll be visiting Sorrento and Orvieto, Italy, with excursions to the surrounding areas of Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, the Isle of Capri, Florence, Perugia and Assisi.

Traveling with us is not your usual "If this is Tuesday, this must be London..." experience.  Our hosts, AHI International, draw upon many years of experience to arrange for week-or-longer stays in towns that are off the beaten path, yet still close to the sites we want to see.  Our guides have always been exceptional for their knowledge as well as their appealing personalities; they're rarely stumped no matter what the question and we've never left a country without feeling that they have become firm friends.

Add to that a mix of interesting local people who socialize with us and experts who give us insight into the history, art or architecture of the day's sights.  There are always thrilling extras such as tea with Lord O'Brian in his manor house in Ireland or cooking lessons in a centuries old hunting lodge in Provence.  And to top it all off, you get to discuss your new experiences and insights with others who share your basic values.

Join us in October, 2007 for our next journey.  You'll see why many people think this is the most fun they have all year!
